We encourage regular attendance at the meetings – girls will often miss out on awards or get lost if they miss many meetings. However, we have an open door policy – we know that life can get challenging and it can be hard to keep up with everything. No girl will ever be dropped from the troop for failure to attend, and girls are welcome back after weeks, months, or even years of absence.
Off-site events are entirely optional. Girls are neither required or even expected to attend every single one, and we have a lot! We plan a variety of activities to allow girls opportunities to attend the ones that best fit their interests and their families’ schedules and financial situations.
